Katseye’s numbers drop to two at Loewe SS27The girl group just stepped out as a duo at Paris Fashion Week, with Lara Raj and Megan Skiendiel making their fashion show debuts at Loewe SS27ShareLink copied ✔️October 3, 2026October 3, 2026Text Isobel Van Dyke Loewe SS27 Global girl group Katseye started as six. Then earlier this year, one member, Manon Bannerman, announced she’d be taking a temporary hiatus from the band to focus on her own wellbeing. A few months later, in August, the group’s leader and main vocalist Sophia Laforteza also announced a hiatus, like Manon, to focus on her mental health and wellness. Since then, Katseye has been down to four members, and today, two of the group emerged as a duo, with Lara Raj and Megan Skiendiel in attendance at the Loewe SS27 fashion show in Paris. United and walking hand-in-hand, this morning’s show marked the Dream Academy graduates’ debut Paris Fashion Week appearance. Once inside, the pair were seen chatting to Anna Wintour, who complimented their outfits: “You look great, I love the colour. Enjoy the show,” Wintour was overheard telling Raj. It’s always a fun mix of celebrities at Loewe. Joining Katseye on the frow was beloved British actress Lesley Manville, director Tim Burton, former Dazed cover star and the next Black Panther David Jonsson, comedian Ziwe, musician Arca, and actors Jack Innanen and Tawan. For its SS27 collection, the Spanish brand returned to its usual spot: the impressive grounds of Paris’ Esplanade Saint-Louis. Somehow, the sun always shines on Loewe – guests arrived to a crisp autumnal morning, many of them imitating the clear skies with bright yellow and blue outfits. For creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, today’s show marked their one year anniversary and third runway for the brand. As always, the designers put a playful spin on the 180-year-old house. Fluorescent accents of colour punctuated the collection – iridescent collars matched the bug-like sunglasses, while the hues were kept fresh and lively. McCollough and Hernandez paired Prussian blue with mint green, teal, orange and the shade that reverberated throughout: buttercup yellow. The silhouettes dipped their toe into sports luxe; 80s-style bomber jackets, windbreakers and swimming caps, like the chicest off-duty diving team you’ve ever seen. Elsewhere, we saw contrasts of hard and soft (similar to this season’s Dior and Margiela), for instance heavy-duty leather jackets paired with ultra-light, transparent chiffon skirts. There were nods to the brand’s past too. A pair of bouncing babydoll dresses (whose skirts began at the bust), paid homage to Jonathan Anderson’s Polly Pocket era – crowned by the Katseye girls as their favourite looks of the show.
