It's hard to believe, but we’ve already reached the end of September. The freshers aren’t feeling so fresh anymore, and nobody knows how to dress for the temperature. Fashion month has reached its final stretch – we’ve completed New York, London and Milan, with just six days of the Paris shows remaining (although some of the biggest players are yet to take the stage: Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Loewe, Balenciaga). But fashion month doesn’t end with the runways. There are the events, activations, parties, resees and of course, a cacophony of new brand collaborations. They say that September is the fashion industry’s January, and if that’s true, then we’d like to start our New Year with these collabs.

ADIDAS ORIGINALS X SIMONE ROCHA

Undoubtedly one of the most talked-about drops of the month, adidas Originals’ latest launch was a collaboration with Irish designer Simone Rocha. The collection was first teased in February this year; we saw it again at Rocha’s Pitti Uomo show in June, before it finally landed this September. It’s already largely sold out, but there are a few pieces left here.

STAN BIRCH X SAUCONY

For his first-ever footwear collaboration, Paris-based designer Stan Birch has teamed up with Saucony on the ProGrid Guide 7 shoes. Centred around the mantra ‘Stand Out’, the project, first previewed this summer during Paris Fashion Week, brings Birch’s colourful design approach to one of Saucony’s most popular silhouettes. See here.

CELINE X REEBOK

This collaboration was first teased earlier this summer, during Michael Rider’s Celine menswear debut – a stunning collection that pulled an impressive crowd, including Grace Jones. If you were too busy gawking at the clothes, you might not have noticed the collaboration with Reebok, which officially hit shelves this September. See here.

AMNESTY X KATE MOSS X BELLA FREUD

Yesterday evening, Kate Moss and Bella Freud sat side-by-side at the Saint Laurent SS27 show, no doubt discussing their latest project together: a very special T-shirt created in partnership with Amnesty. Featuring the words “I Miss You”, the t-shirt is part of Amnesty’s Now More Than Ever collection, supporting the organisation’s fight for human rights, along with other artists including Quentin Blake, Bambi and Kaiser Chiefs. It also marks Amnesty’s 65th anniversary and is available now here.

NEEDLES X SOREL

It’s an unlikely pairing, but it works! Cult Japanese streetwear brand Needles has teamed up with Canadian boot brand Sorel to create your favourite new all-weather style. Needles has reinterpreted Sorel’s Ambler boot with two new shoes: a slide-on clog and a chukka boot, both in purple. The project blends Canadian winters with Tokyo’s vibrant atmosphere. Available now here.

MASHA POPOVA X REEBOK

It’s been a busy month for Reebok! First, it drops the Celine collab, then it crops up again at London Fashion Week, seen in Masha Popova’s collection. The Ukrainian former NEWGEN designer hosted a presentation at 180’s show space this season, customising Reebok’s Freestyle Hi with two new styles: the ‘Denim Ghost’ and ‘Sand Coated Freestyle Hi’. Very sadly, however, the shoes aren’t being sold, so the best we can do is gaze at them from afar.

OAKLEY X CACTUS JACK

It was inevitable that rapper Travis Scott would combine his sartorial worlds at some point. As Oakley’s chief visionary officer and creative director of his own lifestyle brand, Cactus Jack, Scott’s latest project brings the two together. Earlier this month, Oakley unveiled the first chapter in its ongoing collaboration with Cactus Jack, Chapter 0001. The drop features three new eyewear styles – reinterpretations of the Plantaris, Straight Jacket® 99, and Eye Jacket® Redux. See here.

HAVAIANAS X MM6

One of the most recent collabs on this list appeared mere days ago, during Milan Fashion Week. At MM6’s SS27 show, beyond the glitchy looks, the shoes were a highlight – a collaboration with Havaianas. These included platformed flip-flops, stacked mile-high with tiered foam soles, or flat flip-flops cut to follow the shape of each toe. They’re not out just yet, but expect to see these on fashionable beaches next summer.

ASICS X CAMIEL FORTGENS

It wouldn’t be a new month without a new collab from ASICS Sportstyle. This time around, the shoe brand has teamed up with Dutch designer Camiel Fortgens. The project comes as part of ASICS’ Crafts for Mind initiative, blending the shoe brand’s history in technical footwear with Fortgens’ DIY approach to craftsmanship. The styles are already available in Amsterdam, but are coming to Dover Street Market London next month.

KIM JONES X AMAN ESSENTIALS

Former creative director of Dior menswear, Kim Jones is officially back! Earlier this month, he unveiled a collaboration with Aman Essentials, the luxury brand attached to Aman Resorts. The campaign is photographed at the Aman Tokyo, showcasing the collection inspired by Jones’ personal travels. See here.

HUNTER X GANNI

If there’s one thing that unites Denmark and Britain, it’s the rain. Neither country is known for its sunny weather, in fact, both are incredibly grey for most of the year. However, to celebrate the wet climate, British wellie brand Hunter has linked up with Copenhagen label Ganni, creating a special new waterproof capsule collection. It’s available now, here.

LACOSTE X MACKINTOSH

As revealed during Lacoste’s AW26 runway show – held on centre court at Roland-Garros – the brand’s latest project comes via Mackintosh. Together, the two labels have officially launched the Lacoste x Macintosh collection, featuring a flurry of (you guessed it) rain macs. The collaboration is available now, here.

ERLING HAALAND X NIKE

Since the summer’s FIFA World Cup, Norway's star player Erling Haaland has become almost as unfiltered online as he is prolific on the pitch, documenting his specific, organic diet, his love of raw milk and, of course, his regular ice baths. Fittingly, Nike has now plunged into the same territory for his latest Phantom 6 Player Edition: a water-inspired boot featuring a multicoloured Flyknit upper and a hidden pattern that reveals itself when exposed to rain, sweat or a wet pitch. The boot drops for Nike Members on October 1, before a wider release on October 5.
