Opening October 8, the exhibition brings together over 100 works from nearly 70 artists, photographers and designers, taking in everything from the YBAs and the decade’s DIY, anti-fashion spirit to the club culture exploding across the UK. Curated by Edward Enninful OBE, The 90s features work from the likes of Tracey Emin, Damien Hirst, Corinne Day, Juergen Teller and Wolfgang Tillmans, alongside fashion from Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan and Vivienne Westwood. There’s a little Dazed history in the mix, too: the exhibition looks at how Dazed & Confused and i-D helped define the decade’s aesthetic. The exhibition also heads to the dancefloor, with film and photography documenting the Haçienda and Bagley’s, free parties and raves, the queer club nights that shaped the decade, alongside the rise of acid house, jungle, hip-hop and drum and bass. Sound like your kind of thing? Dazed Club members can get two tickets for the price of one through the Dazed Club app by clicking this link here. The 90s: Art and Fashion is on at Tate Britain from October 8, 2026 to February 14, 2027. Escape the algorithm!
